Welcome to Algebra 1! This year, we will explore topics including expressions and equations, inequalities, functions, exponents, polynomials, quadratics, and data analysis. One of my main goals is to make sure students see how math can be applied to the real world, so students will have several opportunities to reinforce their knowledge through projects and working with others this year. STEM lessons and activities are embedded throughout this course and there will be a separate STEM grade for students to highlight their work with this! I look forward to a great year with you all!
