Welcome to 9th Grade English!!!!
My name is Ms. Chateau :)
I believe that every kid deserves to be seen and valued for exactly who they are and for what they uniquely bring to the table. I am here to help ensure all my students get a quality education that enables them to be stronger individuals in their personal lives, their future academic and professional careers, and as citizens in their homes and communities.
My class is known for my Harry Potter classroom. All students are sorted into their perspective houses on the first day of school and compete for house points all year long with their academic work and personal contributions to the classroom culture.
I come from a theatre background and so always encourage a creative approach to learning and self-expression. There is no wrong way to learn! Some students need to learn in different ways and over a different timeline than others - THAT IS OK! I'm here to work with each student and find what works for them until they feel successful in my class.
